Painting outdoors in Steamboat Springs for the Oil Painters of America National Convention preceded Kathie's visit to Crested Butte where she is represented by the Shaun Horne Gallery. And what did Kathie do in CB? Painted outdoors, of course!
It was a whirlwind of a trip to the Rockies which yielded even more than what you will see below. And more still yet to come!

Merry old England was exactly that... especially when surrounded by a tribe of plein air painters! Kathie led a workshop at the home of Rosemary Thompson of Rosemary & Co, creator of the world's finest paintbrushes! What an amazing place, with over 400 David Austin rose bushes in her backyard to be painted!
Then off to Ireland for Art in the Open, where Kathie was a featured artist in the largest of all paintouts. Along with over 200 outdoor painters, she painted alongside and even demoed a few times!
